Small Groups

1:10 Journey Groups are the small group home Bible study ministry of Summit Church, based on Colossians 1:10 "so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God."

Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you’ll enjoy the opportunity to build relationships with others who are following our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Most adults at Summit choose Journey Groups to connect with friends through the week, discuss Sunday's sermon, and grow in God's Word together both spiritually and practically.

Here's how it works: Pastor Doug preaches on a text from the Gospel of Mark each Sunday, you do some brief complementary Bible reading through the week, and our Journey Groups gather in homes to encourage one another as we discover practical ways to give and serve like Jesus!

Our aim is for each group to become a small community of Christ-followers who are deeply committed to caring for each other and encouraging one another to become more like Christ, growing together around the Word of God.
