| India MinistrySPONSOR-AN-ORPHAN The Summit Church family supports the ministries of AIM Asia in three major ways. 1. Our missions budget in the General Ministry Fund helps sustain the work of the national pastors and evangelists taking the gospel to the unreached tribes of India. 2. 10% of “over and above” giving to Seeking Things Above will be used to expand our orphanage facilities in Hyderabad. 3. In addition, many people have “sponsored” one or more girls or boys in our Immanuel Home orphanages, making a commitment to give $20 monthly per child, which provides full support (food, clothing, shelter, medicine, education). Currently 150 girls and 80 boys live in the two orphanages, and we would love to see the people of Summit provide full funding for this ongoing need. You will receive a picture and short biography of your "son" or “daughter”! Contact Jill Engelmann at 732-3972 or farmeng@msn.com
The primary concern of AIM Asia is to reach the unreached tribes of Asia and to care for the destitute orphan children. We believe in sending resident native workers to the neglected tribes so that they could live among them and share their life and faith. There are still 300 tribes in Indian subcontinent alone which do not have a resident worker or a viable worshipping group among them.
