This Week at Summit

Since, then, you have been raised with
Christ,
set your hearts on things above,
where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
Set your minds on things above,
not on earthly things. For you died, and your
life is now hidden with
Christ in God.
When Christ, who is your life, appears,
then you
also will appear with him in glory.
- Colossians 3:1-4

ADOPT-AN-ORPHAN
The ministry of AIM Asia is
supported by Summit Church in three ways.
1. A
portion of our missions budget in the
General
Ministry Fund helps
sustain the work of the national pastors and evangelists taking the
gospel to the unreached tribes of India.
2. And 10%
of our “over and above” giving to
My
Utmost for His Highest
is invested in expanding the
orphanage facilities in Hyderabad.
In
addition, many people at Summit have “adopted” one or more girls or boys in the orphanage, making
their
commitment to give $20 monthly per child. This provides full support (food,
clothing, shelter, medicine, education, and spiritual growth). Currently, 150 girls
and 60 boys live in the
orphanage, and we would love to see the people of Summit provide full funding
for this ongoing need. You will receive a picture and short biography of your
new “daughter” or "son" in India! To adopt an orphan, contact Jill Engelmann at 732-3972 or
farmeng@msn.com
"But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining
toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God
has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."

MY UTMOST FOR HIS HIGHEST

gave His utmost for us, and as His followers, we are now called to give
our utmost for Him!
